Upon signing up, our writer and photographer will arrange a time to highlight your unique dessert. Your unique dessert will be used in our promotion for the event. Helping us drive more sales to your booth. Whether you want to use this contest as a way to launch a new product, awaken your creativity and/or just to win the cash. You will benefit greatly by coming up with something unique and exclusive to DESSERTFEST.
We’re doing this because last event, vendors with the most unique offering made the most sales. Not to mention, it’s also what people shared on their social media. Uniqueness sells and it’s going give you free exposure and more customers. What do you have to lose?
Promotion of desserts will start after May 15th to give everyone equal exposure.
WHO CAN ENTER?
Any vendor registered and paid before May 15th, 2017. The dessert you are entering must be available for purchase all 3 days of DESSERTFEST. Vendors may choose to offer only this item or have it as one of 2 or more offerings at their booth but the unique item that is in the contest must be available for all 3 days. Vendors will be disqualified if they are not offering their dessert they are entering in the competition at their booth at all times. Vendors must showcase their most unique dessert so all attendees can clearly see what dessert they are entering in the competition.
HOW DO I ENTER?
There is no entry fee. To enter this contest you simply need to register and pay as a vendor before May 15th and complete the contest entry form.
WHEN WILL JUDGING OCCUR?
Judging will occur in divisions and you will be assigned a day/time at random (requests for days/times not allowed) on either June 9th, 10th or 11th and you will be grouped in divisions of 5-10 vendors being judged at a time. The winners from each division will move to the finals that will occur at 3pm on June 11th on stage, judged by 5-6 local celebrity judges and the top 3 winners will be announced on stage at 4pm June 11th, 2017.
